Perhaps more the any year in my 25-year career, our market has been quite healthy, with appreciating prices, increasing activity, and Fed Fund interest rate reductions. We transitioned into 2024 with optimism that the Fed would relax its monetary policy, mortgage rates would mirror that trend, building would pick up, and inventory would slowly rebuild.
